UW-Madison ECE 的PENDING邮件

今天收到一封UW的邮件，内容如下：Thank you for your interest and application to the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) graduate program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  We appreciate your patience during this application process.  The ECE graduate program received many applications from applicants wishing to begin the program in Fall 2011.  While the application process is traditionally quite competitive, this application cycle provided many overly qualified applicants.



At this stage you are neither refused nor officially recommended to the Graduate School for admission. You will receive official notice of the status of your application no later than April 2011. If your application is recommended to the Graduate School for admission, you will be notified by email.  We understand that you may have other offers currently pending.  If you decide to pursue an education at another University, please let us know that you wish to withdraw your application as soon as possible.  Again, we appreciate your patience.


这种内容是不是表明基本无望了？ 望达人指教。

申请人太多了，你可以耐心等结果
如果不打算等的话，一定要跟它们说一下，这样人家就不用花时间在你的申请上了。

赞同。也许人家还真是为你考虑，并不代表自己没有可能被接受。

就是pending。不代表希望大，也不代表希望小……反正就是等着咯

前天高中聚会，也听说有个人拿他家EE的AD了

我连这个还没受到呢，现在材料的状态还是不齐。。。。
