Prof. Ali Davoudi (https://scholar.google.com/citat ... amp;hl=en&oi=ao) has received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, The University of British Columbia, Canada, and The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, in 2003, 2005, and 2010, respectively. He was with SolarBridge Technologies, Texas Instruments Inc., and Royal Philips. He is currently a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Texas, Arlington, TX, USA. He directs the Complex Power Electronics Laboratory. He routinely teaches an undergraduate-level course on Introduction to Power Electronics, and two graduate-level courses on Power Electronics Engineering and Electric Motor Drives. Four members of his research group have accepted tenure-track faculty positions in the U.S.
