Last Thursday checked with law firm. No news yet. Also checked with school. No pending status.

Today our company agreed to contact the law firm and find out whether the cheques have been encashed for me and my colleague.

Feel like this is the last straw we can depend on.

It is very likely that neither of the cheques have been encashed. But we went through the waiting perid together, with friends and with family. We've got to be strong whatever the result will be.

God please bless us all.

Thanks. I checked our accounting department. They said they issue a whole cheque and it is the law firm that will write the cheque separately to USCIS.

pat pat. my hr didn't even reply to my esquire about e-verify and opt extension. The last email she sent to me was to tell me that it was their job to communicate with the attorney, and this was 3 weeks ago. I have never talked to our attorney directly in the whole process. i feel i'm in the darkness.
