香港科技大学机械及航空航天工程学系Xian Chen教授课题组招收两名全奖博士生

PhD openings at Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering,
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology,

Prof. Xian Chen is recruiting 2 PhD students from Fall 2023, who will work on two directions:
1. Energy conversion from heat to electricity by phase-transforming ferroelectric thin films;
2. Optics design for mechanics and nanomechanics characterization.

Qualifications:
(1) Bachelor degree in STEM majors related to Physics, Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science
(2) GPA of major courses is above 85/100. Important courses are linear algebra, calculus, general physics, engineering mechanics, theoretical mechanics, crystallography, optics etc.
(3) Prefer Bachelor degree from 985 Universities

Salary: >=18300HKD per month
