share some information about admission decision time-frame

Your admission decision can be made anywhere from today all the way through the end of May (at the absolute latest).


Once a decision has been made, you will receive an email notification from the Graduate Division telling you to check your online application status page (https://www.graddiv.ucsb.edu/eapp/). Within your status page you will see a link stating "View Decision Letter." Once you click on this link, you will be able to view your official admission decision letter.

It is also important to remember that we've received over 1,700+ applications for the Fall 2014 quarter alone, therefore, it takes a considerable amount of time to make and process admission decisions. We ask for your patience in this regard.

Since I am not in the Admissions Committee, I unfortunately cannot provide you any further details regarding the evaluation of your application.
