This guy only has ~12 first author papers but he is qualified to apply for an AP position in top 50 univerisities (from my perspective). If you can keep current publication speed, you might be able to publish 20 papers when graudate.. 1point3acres.com

1. I'll probably add MIT and other prestigious schools to the list if I were you.
2. List all articles, including these not accepted, on your resume.
3. Don't hesitate to reach out to professors before applying.
4. Why TAMU is "保底"? I think it is on the same tier as OSU and Stony Brook.
Thank you! However, I am in fact not as productive as you thought, 'cuz I have actually spent 3 years on these. I tried hard 'cuz I really enjoy doing research, yet the awkward thing is there is only one accepted paper even though I have done many projects. Some are in progress and some failed. The low publication rate is believed adverse by some. And only having one first-authored pub makes me actually not very competitive compared to many candidates 'cuz they may have 2 or more pubs in the NLP domain.

Now the situation is, I really have done many things and have obtained some achievements, but they look not very strong. So it's kinda hard for me to know my level. If you have any advice about anything, would you please tell me? Many thanks!
