Fully-funded Ph.D. openings in solid mechanics @HKUST for Fall 2023

1. We are seeking self-motivated Ph.D. students working on “smart mechanics” in the context of active metamaterials.
2. Students will enroll in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering @HKUST  for Fall 2023.
3. Some backgrounds in

• solid mechanics,
• elastodynamics,
• and finite element method
  

is preferable but not required!
