PhD student opening in robotics / computer vision

The Robotics Lab at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) has a PhD student opening (with a full graduate assistantship and tuition waiver) for fall 2023. The successful candidate will conduct research in simultaneous localization and mapping for dynamic/deformable environments. The lab’s recent research activities include visual inertial odometry for pose estimation of robot and mobile device, autonomous 3D mapping and navigation.
