Not all of our admitted students will receive initial support, therefore, we urge you to give thought to how you are going to cover your financial expenses should you not receive a research or teaching assistantship the first semester

Congratulations!

Our department is currently in the process of determining awards for
TA and RA support and fellowships.  All PhD applicants are automatically considered for
financial aid, and our goal is to be able to provide support of one kind or another to all of our PhD
students.  We will contact you with more information as soon as we have completed the financial
award process.
