美国阿拉巴马大学(The University of Alabama)物理系謝宏岡老师正在招收博士研究生(提供全额奖学金免学费, 有Stipend助学金)

入学时间为2023年秋或者2024年春, 有GRA/GTA/以及Fellowship支持

职位要求:
1有以下方向的硕士研究生学位者优先考虑：quantrum many-body theory, topological materials, van der Waals materials
2 有较强的数学功底。
3 有较强的编程能力。
4 熟练掌握python, C++, Fortran, Matlab, Mathematica 中的任何一种编程语言。
5 有较强的英文写作能力。

导师简介：
Dr. Tse received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 2008. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Texas at Austin (2008-2013) and held a Director’s postdoctoral fellowship at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (2013-2015). Dr. Tse joined the faculty of the University of Alabama in 2015.

Dr. Tse is interested in the rich and surprising physics emerging from confined electrons or photons in low-dimensional quantum materials and cavity systems. His recent research focus has been centered on light-matter interaction and optical properties as well as quantum spintronics in new 2D materials and heterostructures.
