About the Team

Initial Objectives
· Deeply understand internet services and update systems configurations to enhance reliability and performance
· Requires hands-on involvement and customer interaction to onboard new customers and ensure service level agreements are being met
· Work closely with the Development and QE teams to ensure efficient test coverage on all releases

.--Skills
· Strong problem-solving skills in Unix environment

· Scripting in Shell, Perl, PHP, or regular expressions
· Substantial experience administrating and performance
· Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load-balancers DNS, and caching
· Tuning of RHEL Systems, Apache, MySQL, DB, network latency, etc.
· Good knowledge of release engineering tools and processes, knowledge of SVN, CVS, Make
· Prior experience with a 24x7, high-availability, broadly distributed production environment
· Apache, HTTP, DNS, routers, switches, load-balancers, VIPs, Aakamai
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
