We are looking for prospective PhD students to join the NextGen Transportation Lab in the Department of Civil, Construction, & Environmental Engineering at the University of Alabama. Our lab is supported by the Alabama Transportation Institute. Our team brings a unique perspective to understand the roles of travelers, vehicles, infrastructures, and policies in transportation systems. We conduct data-driven and simulation-enabled research, including:

• Transportation planning & demand modeling
• Intelligent transportation systems
• Transportation safety
• Sustainable transportation
• Analytical/modeling methods
