在波多黎各租车被追尾，如何获取警方事故报告？

我三月份在波多黎各圣何塞国际机场机场租的Enterprise，结果还车离开波多黎各的当天, stop sign处被后车刹车不及追尾，对方全责。当时报了警，警察来了做了记录并给了我一张小卡片，上面有事故的编号，警察的姓名警号等信息，让我在事故报告出来后通过这个查询，同时，我也拍了对方的驾照及车辆注册证。可是失策的是，我以为事故报告中会有对方的联系方式所以才没有留，导致了现在的尴尬局面。


返回纽约后找enterprise处理事故，enterprise却让我承担500多的维修费用，理由是让我提供警方的事故报告，否则他们联系不上对方。可是我已经不可能再专门跑回波多黎各警察局去要报告，也没有任何online的网站可以获得报告。我也向enterprise提供了肇事方的驾照和车辆注册的照片，可他们非要诸如手机邮箱的联系方式才能联系对方。


马上就要deadline了，请问这种情况下我是自认倒霉付这500刀，还是继续拖着不付跟enterprise继续argue, 会不会对我的信用产生影响呢，谢谢大家！


如果在外地租车，大家一般是怎么获取事故报告的呀

Good afternoon,
              I have attempted to retrieve a copy of the police report so that we can attempt to collect on the third party that was involved in the accident however I haven’t been able to. Do you have a copy of the police report? We attempt to collect on the at fault party however without the necessary information I am unable to do so. I have also tried to contact you via phone call to discuss this matter but I have been unable to reach you. I reviewed the claim and I don’t see that damage waiver was purchased with this rental vehicle so you would be responsible for the damages per the rental contract, however as I stated previously we do attempt to collect on the at fault party but I need the police report to obtain the information needed. Thank you.

为啥事故当时不报给自己的保险公司？
你提供了驾照，车牌信息，已经足够了。保险公司应当自己就能拿到报告。你的是全保么，那个保险公司？
500刀是deductible么，如果是先交没问题，保公司要到钱会返还给你的。
