比如大家一起出去喝酒,但是point一般不在酒精而在于聊天,和说的内容。
virgin cocktail 或者 alcohol free beer 现在选择还蛮多的,自己大大方方的选好无酒精饮料,如果有人问,就解释酒精影响睡眠质量。
我在欧美还没遇到过玩命劝酒的,但是万一真的遇到非常pushy 或者自己实在推不掉的,你也点一杯随便什么酒,再点一点juice 放在旁边,大家都要举杯就举杯,那杯酒就让它浪费掉,不用沾,或者只端起来沾一下,但是完全不喝。目前还真的没遇到非要看着别人喝下去的人。毕竟如果团建活动喝出问题来,领导也有责任。
至于讲话讲什么,这里有个入门小trick 可以用团建机会来练习active listening,可以做到让对方非常engaged, 自己的情况如果不想说,完全可以选择啥也不说:

1. 重复对方最后几个字来prompt 对方继续说下去
2. Tell me more; and then? ; what happened next?

上文说可以选择不透露任何关于个人的信息,当然如果觉得谈的还可以,适当透露一些个人信息有助于拉进距离,比如如果发现对方和自己有任何共同之处,也可以选择这时候讲出来。旅游,运动,书籍,影视,学校,天气,吃喝穿,木工,滑雪,冲浪,都是不太会碰触红线的问题。不要谈政治,选举什么的。
如果自己有什么特殊经历也可以从多个角度讲,比如15人小cruise去过galapagos island? 爬过machu pichu? 开过飞机?跑过马? ..
如果是一小桌人,自己需要负责调节气氛,如果全都是introvert,就可以提前准备一些小问题,比如你遇到的最embarassing的事情,你在工作里面遇到最crazy的事情,你这周末打算干啥,你平时业余爱好是什么,为什么呢,Where did you grow up? How is that like? 等等。这种时候唯一需要注意的就是尽量别让个别人一直一直dominate the conversation,大家基本轮流一下,一顿饭也就结束了。
