Assistant Professor Haihan Sun's group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has two fully funded PhD positions in the field of applied electromagnetics.
The research topics will be in the areas of- intelligent electromagnetic sensing and non-destructive testing technologies
- advanced antenna systems for communication and sensing

Candidate Profile:- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related fields
- Research experience and/or publication record in applied electromagnetics or artificial intelligence techniques (preferred)
- Highly motivated, capable of effectively communicating and collaborating with others, and have a strong work ethic
- English proficiency: minimum TOEFL requirement: 92 internet (iBT); 580 paper-based test (PBT); or minimum IELTS requirement: 7.0
