Multiple fully funded Ph.D. research assistantship positions at University of Georgia (UGA) are available in the research area of data analytics and machine learning, with applications in advanced manufacturing, occupational safety, and precision agriculture. Prospective students with background in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, etc. are encouraged to apply. Strong hands-on, computer programing and analytic skills are expected. 


The expected starting date is Fall 2024 or Spring 2025, and GRAs will work on projects sponsored by NSF, USDA and NAVY. The GRA positions will be located on the UGA campus in Athens, GA, which is approximately 65 miles northeast of Atlanta.
