若土地真的还有危害，我认为land owner，及real estate agent是不敢卖的，应该有个liability issue。你确实应该找builder，还有一个办法是找附近的邻居，问他们的看法。

What is the responsibility of an agent if the seller or landlord fails to comply with the EPA and HUD Real Estate Notification and Disclosure Rule?

Answer: The agent is responsible for informing the seller or lessor of his or her obligations under the EPA and HUD Real Estate Notification and Disclosure Rule.  In addition, the agent is responsible if the seller or lessor fails to comply. However, an agent is not responsible for information withheld by the seller or lessor.

-上文是EPA的解释。我理解是你的agent有责任让卖方知道他们有责任告知你土地污染的事情。但若卖方特意隐瞒，你的agent没有责任。
