论与黑心学生保险PSI argue

结论就是，F1学生千万不要图便宜去买校外保险，太坑了。
因为各种不保，投诉到州里监管部门。我当时截图PSI他们网页，声称所有保险都是ACA，结果到州监管部门调查他们的时候，他们就把网页承诺符合ACA的部分删掉了。
为什么一开始写ACA？因为几乎所有知名大学要求校外保险都要符合ACA才能申请waiver。等到八月份，学生买完保险申请完waiver，又拒绝承认自己是ACA，因为他们拒绝承认自己符合ACA，州监管部门拿它们没办法。

这是他们给州保险部门的回复，嗯，就是它们在售卖的时候说复合ACA但是到要赔付的时候又不一样TSS states subsequently, the claim was denied in  accordance with the terms, conditions and limitations of the plan, and the Complainant was informed of  his right to appeal the decision. TSS states that the international plans offered under the insurer are designed to meet a variety of  regulations and standards; however, international policies often differ from domestic plans in terms of  ACA compliance as they operate under different guidelines based on the regions in which they offer coverage.

ACA一大重点就是不考虑existing condition ，这个黑心保险会偷偷把很多情况都算成pre-existing condition ，随后拒保。

我觉得买校外保险就是要做好不能理赔的心里准备
