RPI真的卡AW4.0吗

一直收到伦斯勒理工的广告，就回过去问了一下GRE卡分数的事儿，得到了回复。

我的邮件这么说的：
Thanks for your kind reminding and information. As you know, My GRE score is 150 in verbal, 167 in Quantitative and 3.5 in Analytic Writing. And I have always heard that RPI has strict demand for a 4 or above score in the AW section. It really makes me confused because I have been receiving RPI's invitation ever since I took the GRE test this summer. Could you help me out on that?


对方很快就给了回复：
Thank you.  We received your contact information from ETS from a list of people who registered to take the GRE.  ETS did not provide us with your scores.  The average GRE scores of our admitted applicants are 158 (verbal), 162 (quantitative), 3.8 (analytical).


可见未必强制要求AW4.0。

这是我得到的回复。我问得很客气，貌似教务高兴就回答得比较详细。

Thank you for your message. We cannot determine whether you are eligible for admissions/funding without first receiving a completed application from you, along with all required credentials. It may be helpful for you to know our average credentials for accepted students.
158 GRE verbal
162 GRE quantitative
3.8 GRE analytical
97 iBT TOEFL
6.5 IELTS minimum
We do not make admissions decisions based solely on any one credential. The decisions are made through a rather extensive review process of your completed application and all required credentials. Your GRE analytical score of 3.5 falls within the vicinity of our average.

我也是，成绩单的状态一直没改。不知道那个状态是指official的么？不过official不是等admitted后再寄么。。

同问，真卡的话那就不去扔钱了。。。

楼主问的是哪个小米，昨天pris@ecse.rpi.edu这个给我回强烈建议我retake并得到significantly higher scores。
PS，和楼主分差不多，151+170+3.5.significantly，我看是没戏了。

AW 平均分3.8也够高了

我问的ms，感觉他那意思不到4应该不行。phd，估计有希望。

那点看别的背景了估计。。。
