刚刚收到了来自UGA的统计PhD的ad，原文如下。还是蛮喜欢这学校的，感谢认可，能发ad给我。他家的director邮件每次都是秒回，太敬业了。


I am pleased to tell you that I have recommended to the Graduate School that you be admitted to the PhD program in Statistics. Once they have processed my recommendation, you will receive an official letter of admission from them.


This admission is without financial support of any kind. We will place you on waiting lists for both an out-of-state tuition waiver and for an assistantship, but both of these lists are long. It is entirely possible for you to graduate without ever reaching the top of our TA list.
