每日中翻英 20150609: The weaker sex

因为楼主的英语writing特别渣渣，所以最近受知乎http://www.zhihu.com/question/22528300/answer/35596067 上高票答案 from 扇贝王捷的启发，想通过每日中翻英的形式提高英文写作。扇贝上有类似的版块http://www.shanbay.com/forum/daily-translation/#p1， 不过每日选取的topic 长短不适宜，所以想在地里自己开辟一个daily 帖子，选取经济学人or各种经济金融类新闻的中文，自己翻译后与原文对照，挑出好的词组加以学习。

         乍看之下，父权社会似乎欣欣向荣。和几乎所有大公司的老板一样，超过90%的总统和总理是男性。
         男性主宰了金融、技术、电影、运动、电影，甚至是单口相声。
        在世界上绝大多数地方，他们依旧享受社会和法律的特权，仅仅是因为他们拥有一条Y染色体。
        所以担忧男性的困境看上去很奇怪。

我的翻译：
At the first glance, the patriarchy society are promising. Like almost all the big companies' bosses, over 90 percent of presidents and prime minister are males.
The males dominate area like Finance, technology, movies, sports, and even talk show.
In most places in the world, they are still enjoying the previleges in society and law, only because they own one Y  chomosome.
So it is weird to worry about men's trouble.

Men dominate finance, technology, films, sports, music and even stand-up comedy.
