2012 Quantitative Finance Program Rankings (Only Top 30 Ranked):

These rankings are based on research conducted by Global Derivatives, Advanced Trading and Quant Network. The following reflects opinions, perspectives, market data and some degree of subjectivity which may not reflect individual opinion. We looked into the degree program, career prospects as well as faculty as part of our research. Latest admission data and reputation according to the street were also in review. The reason for a ranking such as this is not to demote or promote any of the schools, but to form a guideline for prospective students in the field instead of focusing on the MBA program surveys which can be found in most major newspapers and publications once a year. These programs are not aimed at typical M.B.A. candidates, and generally require a heavy math focus in undergrad work. You may or may not agree with our choices of rankings, or believe that a school has been omitted from the rankings thus far. The board was charged with selecting the top 30 Quantitative Finance Programs, based on Wall Street recruitability - the programs from which Wall Street firms recruit and the programs that produce the best quants.

    和大家通常说的好像有点儿不一样……

这帖子不错，层次分明。

个人觉得这个比较靠谱，比quantnet的排名靠谱

有点想当然了，不要误导别人。参考一下米国业界street的看法吧：http://www.advancedtrading.com。追的人多，也不一定学术就那麽强，“纺锤形”不只是美学，在这里也能解释这一现象。“就业+学术水平”才能让你受用一辈子，quant network好象是baruch的人（学生？）搞的吧？就业相关项占的比例太高。UCLA（MS Financial Engineering）和Columbia（MS Mathematical Finance）都能排进tier1,恐怕有点名不符实哟。喔，Baruch CUNY, MS Financial Engineering也赫然在列ＴＩＥＲ 1  。个人浅见，没有冒犯有 baruch的同学的意思。

Columbia, MA Mathematical Finance 这个感觉排不上tie 1吧，和工程学院的项目没法比吧

感觉还是自己有真才实学才是王道~
