看标题还以为是胖子借钱的事儿。。

楼主，不是100票，而是前100名。现在hometown education foundation排名第51，这两天掉的挺厉害的。

好久没上1point3acre了。正想share关于这个帖子的内容。

这个foundation的创立者Prof Yang是我在UW-Madison交换的时候认识的。他的经历非常的曲折，从徽州师专的bachelor、中国科大的master一直到U Maryland的PhD，以及成为SUNY-SB的AP，UW-Madison的professor。再后来他换肾，开始这样一个基金会。他是我遇到的经历最曲折丰富的一个人。曾经和他聊过一个上午，他对他曾经的辛苦没有一点的骄傲和抱怨。而对于一个数学刚刚起步的后辈，他不厌其烦地帮助，没有一点大牛的架势。后来我让他帮忙写推荐信，他也很爽快地答应了。

虽然这样的一个基金会对改变国内的教育的作用微不足道，但我相信，正是有这样的基金会，在信任稀缺的社会，还有希望和信任。以下是关于这次voting的详细内容以及操作方法：

Would you please help my charity the `Hometown Education Foundation' win
$25000 grant (even more if we get to top 5 in number of votes) from
Chase Community Giving? Please also ask your colleagues, friends
(including facebook friends), classmates, students (if any), and others
to vote for us too. It is very simple and here is the procedure (you
need to have an facebook account):

1. go to our website

http://www.hometowneducation.org/

at the left column, you will find a smiling face with `Go Vote' (along with
support us and chase community giving logo). Click it, you will get to
`Chase Community Giving' on facebook.

2. Login your facebook account there, search for the charity`Hometown Education
Foundation'and then click vote and share.

3. You will see the number of supporters increases with your support.

That is it. If our vote number (end in Nov. 22) is among top 100, we will get
$25000 from Chase Community Giving Program---which means supporting 300
poor middle school students in China for a whole year! Please help us win it
by voting for us and encouraging all the people you know to vote for us too.
