没试过MCIT，不好说他简单，不过从针对人群讲，我觉得跟UChicago是一个类型的。

想跟LZ交流一个事
如果LZ是因为CS在美帝就业好所以转的CS，万一最后因为各种现实的原因（比如长达15年的绿卡排期，比如没找到工作，比如没抽到H1B）不得不回国（概率越来越高了）
那放弃本专业会不会血亏的一逼，而且会处于一个两方面都不精通的尴尬状态.......因为无论哪个方面都没有一直做这个的人强。

我并非质疑LZ的决定，因为我也是想转CS，但还是禁不住有这样的疑问。尤其是自己在本专业还做的挺不错的前提下.............

Good question.

But I can say that, if you have, let's say, 3 years experience in Software Development, and when you come back to China, you will also be highly employed as a experienced candidate. And you can also make three year's money in US, which will cover your graduate school's tuition and have some personal savings.

Honestly speaking, IT is the last market from which people won't be able to find a job. If only you study hard and diligent to take part in interviews, you will always be able to find a job before the end of your OPT. IT marketing is still expanding, just not so fast as it used to be.

Even you choose to come back without any experience, a CS degree will still make it easier for you to find a job in China. Programmers are necessary in every field besides IT, like finance, engineering companies, consulting, government, etc. Every company owns its IT department. The only three kinds of jobs which are not related to CS, I believe, are management, HR and Sales, which most engineering students here in 1p3a are not interested in.

So nowadays, a CS degree will never let you down. Unless you want to enter some specified companies, for example, 设计研究院 in Shanghai likes civil students from Tongji rather than any other universities. If so, I recommend you to get a graduate degree in those specified universities rather than study abroad.
