QUANTIL is looking for a Software Test Engineer to work on the testing of thenext generation of caching for our global content delivery platform. You will bethe one to make sure that the new caching capabilities will meet the demandfrom our ever-growing customer base.

You will be responsible for:

·        Buildingframeworks to test all the features of the new cache software, making it partof the development cycle

·        Designingtest cases based on the product design documents

·        Providingfeedback on potential design improvements

·        Hackingthe code to fix problems, if you can – who says test engineers can only dotesting!

·        Interactingwith other team members to translate requirements into complete designs

·        Implementingdesigns using Agile methodology

Requirements:

• BS / MS or PhD in Computer     Science/Engineering, or relevant engineering/science fields
  
• 3+ years’ experience in     production coding and designing in any language – C/C++ preferred
  
• 3+ years’ experience with     Linux systems as both a user and administrator
  
• 2+ years’ experience running     and writing shell scripts
  
• 2+ years’ experience in Perl     or Python
  
• Experienced with test     frameworks, such as Jenkins
  
• Experienced in managing HTTP     servers, such as Apache, Nginx and Tomcat
  
• Experience with software     development and test cycles
  
• Excellent communication     skills – written and verbal
  
• Must be self- motivated,     hands-on, detail-oriented, have the ability to thrive in a team     environment, and perform beyond expectations
