大家帮忙解释一下Purdue的ps要求

Purdue网站上时这么写的：
The admissions committee very much prefers statements submitted with these headings:
Applicant's Name:

Long Term Degree Objective:

Research Experience:

Publications:

Future Research Interests:

Other Comments:

想问一下大家heading是什么意思呢？是下面哪一种意思？
1）整篇ps就按照这样一个一个小标题写，相当于把各个小标题的问题回答一遍
2）在ps开头把这些小标题回答一遍，接下来就把自己原本准备的ps贴上去

按我的理解是 整篇ps就按照这样一个一个小标题写，相当于把各个小标题的问题回答一遍
而且网站上明显写着~~一定要按这个格式~否则不接收材料~~

我和LZ 一样， 我把PS 拆开放进去了
