RA/TA Positions Available in University of Texas at Arlington

RA/TA positions at Computer Science and Engineering Department at University of Texas at Arlington are available from Fall 2017. These research assistantships are to work with Dr. Heng Huang towards Ph.D. degrees.

Desirable applicants should have BS or above degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mathematics or other related fields, and STRONG motivation toward high quality research in Machine Learning, Data Mining, Computer Vision, Bioinformatics. Machine Learning/Pattern Recognition background is plus. The related research work in Dr. Huang's lab requires good math background and programming skill.

The previous PhD students graduated from Dr. Huang's group have received Assistant Professor position in US, and Data Scientist job positions from corporate research labs and top companys, including Mitsubishi Lab, IBM Watson Lab, Abbott Laboratories, eBay, Apple, WhaleShark, Uber, Tencent AI Lab, Didi Research, etc.
