Position Summary:
The Android Framework Engineer will primarily be involved in design, implementation and launch of security solutions on Samsung Android devices. The candidate will work closely with other developers to create cutting-edge designs and applications. In addition, they will work closely with one or more QA teams (local or remote) to identify, debug and fix production issues.
Responsibilities Include:
•        Design and implement Android framework components  
•        Design and implement new security features in Android
•        Work in team to provide improvement of previously developed solutions.
•        Work closely with QA teams to identify and fix any and all bugs that are reported.
Experience Requirements:
•        Experience with object-oriented design and development
•        Experience with data structures, algorithms and multi-threaded programming
•        Java/C++ programming experience
•        BS degree in Computer science or related field
Preferred Requirements:
•        Knowledge of the Android Framework internals is a strong plus
•        Knowledge of Android Security Model is a strong plus
•        Hands on experience with Android applications development in a professional environment
•        Knowledge of common Java “design patterns”
•        Embedded solutions design, development and debugging experience
•        PhD/MS degree in computer science, engineering or related field is preferred
