opt延期被rfe要求提交一份i983copy和offer letter等信息

楼主现在是第三方contractor申请opt extension，opt已经在2月过期。现在收到uscis rfe，要求提供一份i983的copy, offer letter还有其他例如工资单，w2等信息。请问有人也收到过类似rfe么？求指导，求经验。

当时填i983的时候傻逼的把site name写成了客户的名字，导致employer 和 site name不一样。不知道是不是因为这个原因。很着急，不知道是不是应该准备打包回家了。。

不太可能是这个原因。I983只有学校看，USCIS看不到，它要是能看到就不会给你RFE要I983的copy了。

最大的可能性是你的SEVIS档案没更新。你每次跟学校汇报employment，学校按理说都要把信息更新到你的SEVIS档案上；USCIS在批EAD卡的时候会看你的SEVIS档案。现在这个明显就是你的SEVIS档案上的employment信息不对。那么：
LZ你12个月OPT期间有过unpaid工作吗？这个工作现在还在做吗？有跟学校汇报完结了吗？
你申Extension的工作有跟学校汇报过吗？学校有帮你更新到你的SEVIS档案里吗？更新的employemnt信息对吗？尤其是pay写对了吗？

你最好去跟学校国际生办公室看一下你的SEVIS档案，这东西就是个在线的网页系统，让办公室的advisor登陆进去看一眼你的employment信息对不对。确保SEVIS里的信息都正确后，把RFE要的那些材料寄过去，然后等着拿卡就行了。

F-1 students participating in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) optional practical training (OPT) extension may find their training opportunity with assistance from a temporary or staffing agency.  However, all regulatory requirements of STEM OPT must still be maintained.

If a student uses a temporary or staffing agency to place them in a training opportunity, the agency cannot complete and sign the Form I-983, “Training Plan for STEM OPT Students.”  Only the E-verified employer that provides the actual training relevant to the student’s qualifying STEM degree is authorized to sign and complete the Form I-983. The “Official with Signatory Authority” for a student’s Form I-983 must meet the following criteria:

Be employed by the organization providing the training.
Be familiar with the STEM OPT student’s goals and performance.
Have the authority to affirm that the information on the Form I-983 is true and correct.
Remember, students must submit a completed and signed Form I-983 to their designated school official (DSO) before the DSO can request them for the STEM OPT extension in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System. Additionally, if the terms of a student’s training deviate from the original Form I-983, the student and employer need to update it and provide a newly signed Form I-983 to the DSO.

This means that if a student uses a temporary agency that places them in short-term training opportunities with several different employers, the student will need to complete a new Form I-983 for every new training opportunity with each employer.

我没有unpay的工作，就是我的公司一直都没变过，都是第三方staffing company.

我申请延期跟学校联系过，然后因为公司一直没变过，所以应该没怎么变化。然后我的pay rate 是hourly rate，这个应该没关系吧？

我想请问一下提交的i983 copy，我有什么地方需要改一下的么？因为我site name写的是client site，然后地址是纽约，但是staffing company总部在va,然后everify-number也在va，我不知道site name & address这一块怎么写比较好。有点虚。求指教，谢谢！

问层主几个h1b问题

1.抽中，审核中，approve之前，如果withdrawl后是不是还是保持当前OPT状态？  包裹及费用退不退？
2.抽中，已经approve，但在10月1号生效前, 如果withdrawl后, 那状态还是OPT？  包裹和费用应该不退了吧?
3. 选择withdrawl是让律师联系USCIS??

都不知道。问律师。但费用肯定都不会退。而且H1B的给USCIS的申请费才多少钱，律师费才是大头。

你的staffing company在你工作的州有branch吗？有的话写branch的名称地址？

申opt ext的时候用的最新的i20，第三页上应该是打出来了所有的sevis里的employment history ，楼主可以自己看一下有没有问题
我老公的opt ext也被rfe了，不过他是因为填错了everify number (小蜜告诉错了)，但是同时也被要了i983，在想现在要看i983是不是变成norm 了。。。顺手就要来看看

我看了下我的i20，我发现stem opt employer name上面写的是xx(第三方staffing company) at yyy (client company)...我是不是需要学校给我改一下，不提及我的client company…… 伤心

那怪不得USCIS给你发RFE了…………
DHS（USCIS的上级部门）的博客是说Staffing Company是可以申Extension的，具体看链接 https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov ... emporary-agencies-0

我觉得你改你SEVIS也没用了…无视我之前那堆隐瞒你在Client公司工作的方法，I983直接写Client的地址也无所谓了，毕竟你SEVIS上都写了（I20就是直接由SEVIS生成的）………你现在要做的就是保持一致：SEVIS档案，还有RFE上要求的那些材料，上面的信息能一致表明你是xx(第三方staffing company) at yyy (client company)，然后根据DHS博客的意思，你应该找Client Company你的上级给你签I983。

然后听天由命看USCIS会不会发卡吧。。。。
