我这个情况到底是抽中了没

楼主在大公司工作， 有个h1b群发现这几天都开始放本科消息了。。所以我已经放弃了，顺便问了下DSO我的SEVIS状态，没想到回复是这样的。。

Since USCIS is not good at noting SEVIS records correctly, it takes a good amount of time on our end to look up records that a) could be wrong and b) do not provide sound advice or guidance. It is difficult to plan your life based on information that may or may not be accurate.

Bearing all that in mind, I looked at your record and there is a notation of a change of status pending.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE confirm this with your lawyer!! USCIS can sometimes update the SEVIS records incorrectly and you really need to check in with them for absolutely certainty.


不过律师那边还是没有邮件通知。。群里都好几天没有AD消息了。。但是我这里连receipt no.都有了，而且我的opt延期是明年7月过期所以不应该有别的申请。。USCIS不会坑爹的更新错误吧。。有什么办法能确认这确实是我的receipt number?

应该是中了吧 连case no 都给出了呀。

也想问大神一个问题，中了是不是开cap gap比较好，但是想保底，又申请了其他学校，能去上课吗，会不会视为 ...

皆有利弊：
1. sevis record transfer到新学校后opt就失效了，你需要cpt挂靠到h1b生效的时候。挂靠cpt会花掉很多时间和金钱。
2. 有挂靠学校经历可能会招致h1b的rfe。
3. 使用cap gap唯一的缺点就是万一h1b被拒了，那没有身份衔接。但是h1b一般都会先给出rfe，等到结果出了再考虑转身份也不迟。

综上，我认为使用cap gap更好。

没法确认，只能等律师收到信

理论上是中了，先恭喜一个～
虽然不排除uscis搞错了的可能性，但毕竟不大。安心等receipt吧，两周等不到再问问

不过今天律师那边还是一点消息都没。。依然无心工作
