想问一下现在没有PP了transfer一般要多长时间？
只是中了签，在正式生效前可以transfer吗？

不是说这个transfer 需要6-8个月吗？是我搞错了吗？
抱歉，还有个问题，这个receipt number难道寄出就有了？不是应该要uscis拆开包裹然后机器自动生成吗？还有你在帖子里发的那个case number应该是h1b抽中的人收到的吧，跟H1B transfer 没什么关系呀。

统一回复楼上所有人，我是在trackit上面看到的，每个人case都不一样，大家要多报数据才能互相帮助。我也不是移民局，多久才能拿到receipt，你问律师他也不会知道吧。

我26号file的，现在一点消息没有。律师开始说few days但昨天告诉我三周到四周，tmd。

哎，我是grace time期间transfer的，貌似风险更大：

USCIS has not officially confirmed if H1-B visa holders in 60-day grace period can join a new company and start to work based on the H-1B transfer filing receipt notice. The current regulation language suggests that USCIS may make a determination on a case-by-case basis.

So the risk is: if xxx is on-boarded during grace period and the USCIS later determines that H-1B transfer is not allowed in her case, she may need to leave the company and the U.S. due to lack of work authorization. This could happen next month or whenever USCIS make a decision on her H-1B transfer case or releases their further comments on regulation which we have little control.

但是上述risk也适用于所有h1b transfer中拿receipt上班的啊，如果deny就只能先回国。
那回国以后申请其他签证回来还能再tranfer h1b吗？没看到过deny的样本。
