The total cost of our master's degree program is $43,000.  That covers the 18 month program and your health insurance while you are a student.  Top students are eligible for our merit scholarships which are typically somewhere between $8,000 and $12,000.  After the first summer which is full-time, all day, students may apply for research assistantships.  The availability of these varies based on how much funding faculty have.  If a student receives an assistantship, he or she works around 20 hours a week in one of our labs or offices and is paid around $15.00 an hour.  Students usually fund the rest of their studies with student loans.

There is no tuition waiver - just payment for the hours worked.
