Dr. Jun Liuwill join the Department of Civil, Construction, & EnvironmentalEngineering at The University of Alabama as an Assistant Professor ofTransportation Engineering, starting in Fall 2018. Dr. Liu is seeking talentedPhD students to work in the area of transportation, focusing on

-      Intelligent Transportation Systems;

-      Connected and Automated Vehicles;

-      Transportation Planning and Demand Modeling;

-      Traffic Safety and Operations; and

-      Sustainable Transportation (fuel economy andemissions).

Graduatestudents with strong quantitative background and programming skills areencouraged to apply.
