为什么称呼英女王为her majesty

如题。 为什么称呼英女王为 her majesty，而不是 my majesty， our majesty或者直接说 the majesty ?

应该是用her 表宾格，称为“她” ，majesty 作为同位语 表王权 陛下的意思。 不确定，求大神们指示。

跟女王说话的时候就是your majesty更多就不知道了

因为大部分称呼女王的时候都是介绍者向其他人叙述，因此用第三人称，majesty不过是代称英国国家元首的说法，不用my和the这个应该是为了表示皇室的尊贵吧。。个人意见。。如果只是你和女王对话的时候应该就是称your majesty

习惯了。。

但是还是没有解释“为什么”啊。。。。为什么叫majesty royal highness 而不是其他什么greatness啥的呢。。。

刚看见这帖子，跟实验室里一个对这方面了解比较多的哥们儿聊了下，据他说 her majesty 这个用法是来源于latin，有时候第三人称在 latin 里用来表达极度的尊重，可以是对 god 或者皇权这种，甚至king自己在宣布什么事情的时候都称自己为 “his majesty” 而不是自称“I”，比如会说 king 会说 ‘his majesty decided that...’ 这种话。
至于为什么叫 majesty 或者 highness 这种，似乎不同的 title 有不同的叫法，比如 bishop 也有称呼 his gracefulness。但是为啥有这种固定用法，什么 historical reasons 就不清楚了。。

Style of a head of state

After the fall of Rome, Majesty was used to describe a monarch of the very highest rank - indeed, it was generally applied to God.
