H1B RFE如何证明EE专业和software engineer的相关性？

楼主最近收到了H1B的RFE通知，律师要求补充材料[size=14.666666984558105px]The RFE is asking for more information about the relationship between your degree in Electrical Engineering and the duties of the offered position Software Engineer.[size=14.666666984558105px]Specifically, the USCIS would like to know how your academic studies at the graduate and undergraduate level are relevant to your work as a Software Engineer[size=14.666666984558105px]我目前能想到的就是上了许多CS的课，还做了一些CS的project，不知道其他方面还有什么能够补充的，希望地里有经验的前辈们多多赐教！小弟先行谢过

同样EE degree做software engineer，这样也会RFE么？最近是不是真的严格了

你的soc code是多少？15-1132 的task之一是：
Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
然后knowledge之一是：
Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
所以EE应该是可以的

还有，方便透露你的wage level不

律师给我写的SOC code 是17-2071.00 - Electrical Engineers
但公司给我的职位确实是software engineer，而且我做的都是软件方面的东西

可能是因为17-2071.00里面
Sample of reported job titles: Circuits Engineer, Design Engineer, Electrical Controls Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer, Instrumentation and Electrical Reliability Engineer (I&E Reliability Engineer), Power Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, Test Engineer
没有Software Engineer所以才会被ref，别的EE不用惊慌:)

可以让律师帮忙想一下怎么把17-2071.00的task跟Software Engineer关联起来咯
