美国新墨西哥州立大学电子与计算机工程专业Assistant Professor Dr. Wenjie Che招收博士生,具体研究方向为:硬件安全与可信,计算机嵌入式系统安全,软硬件协同设计,安全与密码学,机器学习建模等。
相关背景介绍如下:
1. 熟悉FPGA或嵌入式系统,有相关动手开发经验(擅长VHDL(Verilog)及C者更佳);
2. 熟练掌握一至两种编程语言,如C, C++, python 或perl 等;
3. 熟悉大规模集成电路(VLSI)相关开发流程及工具;
4. 具有安全或密码学相关背景为强加分项;
5. 对嵌入式系统、计算机操作系统及体系结构有较深理解,有机器学习相关背景;
6. 对科研感兴趣,有较强自我驱动力和学习能力。

The Klipsch School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Mexico State University has one open position for a Ph.D student with financial support. The major research areas include:
(1) Hardware and embedded system security and trust;
(2) Hardware and software co-design;
(3) System security and cryptography protocols;
(4) Artificial intelligent security (machine learning);
The student will work closely with Dr. Wenjie Che on research projects in the above mentioned areas. Backgrounds in one or more of the following aspects are desirable:
(1) Hands-on design or testing experience in FPGA platforms (Xilinx or Altera) using VHDL (or Verilog). Hands-on experience with arm-based soc embedded systems;
(2) Efficient in one or two programming languages, e.g., c, c++, python, perl and so on;
(3) Familiar with VLSI design flow and tools;
(4) Background in security or cryptography is a big plus;
(5) Have a good understanding of operating systems and embedded system;
(6) Interested in doing research, strongly self-motivated;
