急！！！工作后opt忘记report了

因为疏忽，在工作后忘记将employment information report给学校了。 现在正在通过学校的网站report it。但是学校的international office说我没有report within 10 days when I start the job， which violate F1 status。 然后叫我找一个immigration attoney咨询一下这对我意味着什么。我到处打附近的律师的电话想咨询，但是都要支付100美元，而且并不能立马答复。
我想问下没有在10 days内report但是在90天内问题大吗？会不会成为违法身份在美国，我现在很怕成了一个非法移民
还有问一下哪里能看自己的F1 status有没有被terminate？怕某一天被terminate都不知道怎么回事。

We see that you have decided to apply for Post-Completion OPT with USCIS. Here are a few reminders about being on OPT:

If you have decided to not participate in OPT and return home, be sure to email your Immigration Advisor and let them know. This is also true if, at any point throughout your 12 month OPT, you decide to return home permanently.
If you receive a Request for Further Evidence (RFE), contact the ISSS Office right away with your notice and we can assist you.
If you have failed a class, received an ‘Incomplete’ in a class, or are unsure if you have truly completed your studies, contact the ISSS Office right away, as this will greatly impact your OPT application & F-1 program.
When you are approved for OPT, you will receive an email from SEVP to create your SEVP Portal Account. The link provided in that email will expire within two weeks, so do not hesitate to create your SEVP Portal Account.
When you receive OPT Employment, make sure to update ISSS or the SEVP Portal with your employer information within 10 days of the change. Failure to do so can result in automatic termination of your OPT and F-1 Records.

刚才问了一个律师，他跟我说没问题的，因为我在ead卡拿到后开始工作的，并没有在拿到前开始工作，这个within 10 days只要和学校协商一下就好了，我也不知道是不是真的， 他跟我说会星期一和我confirm一些东西

额。。。楼主的操作，学校ISSS应该有发邮件提醒的呀。加油，应该能搞定

我感觉你这个还有操作的余地，但是你现在拿工资了有记录，这就不知道咋搞了。你可能要问问公司律师和学校管这方面的Advisor

赶紧找律师咨询啊，100美元难道很多吗

去SEVP Portal 上看, 然后更新一下雇主信息。

学校让我问律师，律师说没问题，不需要什么reinstatement，但学校的网站上写的那么恐怖都会terminate，我都不知道该怎么搞了
