求问实变函数和实分析的区别

对这个问题确实没想过
我们两门课的课程设置区别还挺大的 一直以为是因为本科生课程和研究生课程的区别

我们也是只有real analysis和functional analysis，没见大家区别这两个，但是functional analysis是只给研究生的课程。我觉得单纯比课程名称没什么意思，还是要看具体都讲了什么内容。

是的，但是大部分学校Analysis和Variable一般只有其中一个就说明他们内容大致上差不多了，具体差别会有，但是肯定不大。至于实分析和泛函，我上的实分析是研究生的课，其中也包括一点泛函的知识，但是真正想学泛函还是要上Functional Analysis，倒是有听说把他们合起来的，但是也会叫实变和泛函而不是只叫“实分析”，所以至少可以说明实分析不应该是两个课的合称。

同纠结于这个问题诶==
看了几所美国大学里开设的Real Analysis，感觉涵盖的内容数学分析就学过~
比如 Harvard的 Introductory Real Analysis  course catalogue在这里 http://www.math.harvard.edu/courses/index.html

继续借楼提问，申请stat/biostat PhD所看重的Real Analysis是哪一种哈？？

同一个名字的课在不同学校教的时候内容都不一定一样，何况是实分析这么一个可广义可狭义的概念。

看罗伊登写的real analysis，里面就包含泛函分析

美国的real analysis有两种。一种是undergraduate real analysis, 内容如8楼所说，差不多是国内的数学分析，但是很多学校还会补充lebesgue interal之类的额外内容，标准的课本就是Baby Rudin.

还有就是graduate real analysis, 大概就是measure theory + functional analysis, 标准的课本是Rudin的real and complex analysis或者Folland的Real analysis，有的学校还会补充一些内容比如spectral theory, topological vector space.

有的学校还有专门的functional analysis课，是real analysis后续课，讲更深的内容，比如peter lax的泛函或者rudin的泛函，不同学校讲的内容很不一样。

国内的本科实变函数和泛函分析内容是接近于graduate real analysis,但是国内的本科实变和泛函普遍来说深度和广度低于美国的graduate real analsis.

当然harvard的课程要比一般学校难度大，所以本科版本的Analysis II就已经讲了measure theory和一些functional analysis, 内容基本相当于其他一般学校的graduate analysis 的前半部分。
