They are taking note of the conversation and I’m sure of that.

There was this guy in front of me during my interview in the US Embassy in Manila. He was asked “Have you ever had a plan of studying in the US?” to which he answered “No. I never thought about that”.

The consul then replied: “I’m sorry I cannot give you your visa right now. In your previous interview you said that you were planning to study in the US”.

Just like that! They keep a record of all the interviews so don’t even attempt to lie. Now I don’t know if it’s even possible for this guy to get a visa because what if he gets asked the same question? How is he going to answer it? :/

检查一个新认识的人是否可靠，一个重要的标准就是看他前后言行是否一致，说话时是否和客观事实相符。如果存在不诚实的行为，可以判断此人大概率不可靠，不值得信任。

这招不仅对移民局这种政府部门适用，对于个人交友，求职，婚恋，找导师，商业合作都是适用的。光是上别人的朋友圈，微博，博客，贴吧，推特，脸书查看他们的公开信息，一般情况下就心理有数了。

从这里也可以看出，签证官和海关问的很多问题，其实很可能是故意设置的圈套。他们在电脑上调出相关信息后，就对着这些信息问问题，以确认对方没有问题。
