延后一周审核不等于通过。而我只是针对你说的必然通过而已，这里谁都别假装很了解国会那帮人，纸牌屋又不是没看过，鬼知道最后一分钟会发生什么。

Your point is wrong here as because people don't have Schizophrenia. No one can consider international issues with one logic and domestic issues with another.

US congressmen don't aim at hurting Chinese people by passing this bill. You are confused because you are confusing the concepts.But Sinophobia makes them care less about the feeling of current/potential Chinese immigrants. You think they vote for the bill because they believe the bill could benefit Chinese, or they neglect the feelings of Chinese?
They may not think fewer Chiness could get green card in the near future could hurt Chinese (Why is it bad? How does it hurt China/Chinese? Chinese say they love their country which is great.), but many of them are happy to see fewer Chinese staying in the US.

I don't totally agree with you for several reasons:

1: If talking about international issue doesn't do us good, focuses on domestic topics. Diversity, inclusion, whatever. We can still try to make it as domestic as possible, it is something we can do!
2: "No caring the feeling of Chinese" sounds better then "benefit both Indian and Chinese". I would rather not getting mentioned at all, instead of being used as a weapon by my enemy.

你是不是说反了？延后一周审核不等于 不通过。你真的当延后一周是重大胜利吗？
鬼知道最后一分钟会发生什么，那这分钟发生什么你知不知道？现在支持和反对的票数对比如何？要不通过你还要争取多少票？连找个人来扳倒UC都这么吃力，还要让人变节反对呢。
我对投票通过并不怀疑，所的希望只是拖死（没有会期讨论这个bill，寿终正寝）。但是现在有没有人为中国人说话都成问题。

1. Like I said, hurting Chinese is not a reason for congressmen to vote for the bill, nor is it a reason for us to urge them to vote against it. Diversity is a good point, but the fact that most people making the phone call have a Chinese accent makes it weak... Maybe other groups are also taking action, which I don't see.
2. I am talking about my thoughts, not a motto for a campaign, or a message to a congressman. I say different things to different people.

Totally got your points. Just wanna discussion, no judgement call. Agree.

I don't think people can tell where you are from on phone if you are from east Asia... Chinese don't speak English in their home country so it is probably hard to say what Chinese accent sounds like.

朋友，为什么你就觉得延后一周一定就是会通过？你信不信他们如果坚持这种uc的方式，每周都会有个参议院跳出来恶心他们一下？只要站出来随便找个正当理由就可以反对了，今天这个参议员就是这么干的。
我没有盲目乐观，但是也没盲目悲观。我也根本不指望国会帮中国人或者帮任何一个种族，这是美国人的国会，美国人应该基于他们的利益做决定，只要让美国人觉得这么干是鼓励外包公司滥用h1b以及绿卡政策，就至少会有美国人站出来反对。最好让美国人觉得这对中国人也有利，说不定反对的声音更多。

我觉得能通过不是因为拖延一周以后，是票数。
据我所知是：有足够的票数通过，但是会期不够，可能自然死亡，有人想用UC投机取巧。

基本面不改变，UC能挡几次，但真到投票就会过。
