Ph.D. Positions in Electrical Engineering
Florida Atlantic University


Multiple fully funded Ph.D. positions are available starting immediately in the Department of
Computer & Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

The research areas of these positions are generally related to computational intelligence, cyber-physical systems, intelligent control, networked control systems, robotics and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Required qualifications:
(1) B.S. degree in engineering field;
(2) Strong background in systems and control, optimization, robotics and/or mathematics;
(3) Excellent writing and communication skills;
(4) Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, MATLAB, C/C++, etc.

Preferred qualifications:
(1) M.S. degree;
(2) Previous research experience with a good publication record;
(3) Previous research experience on control systems, robotics, UAV is a plus.
