部分学校的12年的统计master录取情况

当我DIY抓耳挠腮的时候，误打误撞来到了地里，诶吗茅塞顿开，醍醐灌顶，眼泪哗哗的啊。今天有时间就把自己申请的时候骚扰小米的成果贴出来，希望对大家选校有一定帮助~~仅供参考~~
当时主要问的是统计master录取率

University of Missouri: For the Fall 2012 semester, and with theonset of the new applied track MA program, we've enrolled a total of 37 newmaster's students. For this most recent semester, about 80% of all of our newgraduate students are international students.

Minnesota: This year we had 22 new MSstudents and expect about the same in fall 2013.

Uconn: We do not offer any financialassistance or Teaching Assistant positions to MS students.  Last fall wehad over 250 MS applicants, mostly international applicants and we admitted 85,less than 20 completed enrollment.

Iastate: We typically enroll about 25students per year, most of whom are PhD students.  Of those, about 30%tend to be international students. We do not provide funding for internationalMS students, and thus we rarely admit international students for the MSprogram.  Students would have to be self-supporting and that can getexpensive.

Temple: For MS Statistics we typicallyadmit about 10% of our total applicants.

Uga: The attached spreadsheet showsapplications, admissions and enrollments since 2008.  We do not break itdown between MS and PhD because there is often little difference between thetwo (MS students become PhD students; PhD students decide to get a job with anMS). We do not know right now how many we will admit.  That will depend ona lot of factors; including how much money we have available for financialassistance.

UCI: We do not disclose admissionstatistics as they vary per year and program.

VT:  This year we had 200applications. We admitted about 45 and offered funding to 8. Of the studentsadmitted, 22 joined our program in the fall, 2012, including the 8 funded students.  I expect to fund about the samenumber for fall, 2013.  We likely will admit about 10 additional studentswithout funding. All students admitted to our program, whether they desire toobtain the MS or the PhD degree, take the same core sequence of courses andtake an exam at the end of the school year. This exam determines whether thestudent is allowed to continue as a PhD student or if the student obtains an MSafter another semester in the program.  We will occasionally fund astudent who only seeks the MS degree but we are more likely to offer funding toa student who seeks the PhD. We give greater consideration to qualifiedstudents with very good skills in both oral and written English as we need suchstudents for teaching and for consulting.  We admit students with a strongmath background, regardless of major. Our MS and PhD programs are designed tobegin with the students first fall semester. Core courses taken during the fallsemester are prerequisites for the core courses taken during spring semester.For this reason, we seldom admit students who wish to begin their studiesduring spring semester.  An exception to this can be made for a studentwho applies who already holds an MS degree in statistics from a program in theUnited States comparable to ours.

UMD: During the Fall semester, Ph.D.applicants have priority to admissions, in the past we would still admit someMasters' but the number of applicants has nearly triple during the last 3 yearstherefore M.A. applicants (we do not offer M.S. degrees) are started toencourage them to only apply during the spring semesters this fall (the webpagewill be changed accordingly shortly). During Spring, our Masters' admissionsare limited to five or below (we will have only 3 this spring) and below. All STAT Masters' students will also be asked to choose the non-thesisoption.  This means, they must pass our Qualifying exams

Georgetown: In the last cycle wereceived 220 applications and admitted 28. International applications arewelcome and we international students comprise about 25% of the student body.

Udel: We currently have about 20students in each year of our two year program. There was a large number ofapplicants but the ratio of this number to the number accepted would bemisleading as not everyone chose to come.

FSU: we generally receive about 200applications each year for the MS and PHD programs, with the majority of thembeing international students. Although enrollment numbers change yearly we accepted22 students into the graduate program this year.

Purdue: We do not have a set number ofstudents we wish to enroll; we rate students based on qualify, not quantity.

NCSU: We have been admitting about 30students each year into the doctoral program, about half are internationalstudents.  Beginning this coming summer (2013), we will be admittingstudents to a one-year Master of Statistic program.

umich: For the 2012/2013 academic yearwe had over 450 applications for the master's program and 35 students wereadmitted many of whom were international students

WPI: Last year we received 85applications to our statistics program, 39 were admitted and 6 actuallyenrolled. I do not have any statistics for Fall 2013 as those applications havenot yet been sent to us.

UFL: 1. all phd no master 2. 70-80%international

Colorado State U: Thank you for your interestin our MS statistics program at CSU. Last year we received about 200applications to our program (combined MS and PhD students) and accepted 14. Ofthe 14 accepted, 10 were offered financial support. Of the 14, 4 areinternational. We do not have a set number of students to accept for next fall,since it varies every year, but typically we accept about 15 students.

因为本人背景差，询问大部分的都是排名不那么靠前的，uva就没敢问。。。

我觉得LZ条件不差啊。。。给跪。。。当时看着UVA统计学排名不高的样子。。。这就是被默拒的节奏吧

谢谢谢谢~本二背景，自觉心虚，无其他，我不是喊弱党的。。。

我觉得是不是综排靠前的比较牛气呢，我也不了解情况呢，耐心等等吧~
