与教授发邮件应该注意什么

最近在跟两个教授下面做一些research，需要有很多的邮件交流，有时候教授不回邮件，根据我teammate的说法，我发邮件的语气太冲了，不够尊重（都是外国人教授），但是我自己看不出来有什么问题，下面把自己的一些邮件记录贴出来，请大家批一下，回复就加米！

I think it is ok to do xxx. But wouldn't it corrupt the xxx if we xxx?

* As we can see in the final project, in the MNIST dataset, our method xxx. Do you mean we should xxx?

* As we discussed before, we think a full set of A x B pairs is one way to obtain the variance, and we did not deny xxx.
For the full set method, intuitively speaking, a possible justification is that: xxx

个人拙见欢迎交流哈，读起来语气确实有点生硬，说一下自己认为可以改进的地方吧，

. check 1point3acres for more.1.可以尝试一些第三人称表述，比如"I think" -> "It seems" 或 "I thought XXX, but... "
2. "Since I am not a native speaker, I don't know whether I am making this clear or not, please point out anything that you are still confused about." 可以写成 "Please let me know if I didn't make them/things clear."
3. 我也认可楼上所说，并没必要强调自己非native的身份，显得过于不自信

最后分享一点自己感受有时候老美客气起来也是相当讲究的，但多数情况下沟通中内容还是最重要的，语气以及用词的斟酌更像是锦上添花表示尊重吧。

没啥问题吧……我觉得你没必要强调你不是native speaker，反而显得不自信，教授也是个普通人，没那么小气，

的确应该避免使用祈使句。我老板给我们这些学生发邮件都不经常使用祈使句。这么多祈使句的邮件，不用说给教授看，我做学生看了都不想回。我自己的习惯（基本上是跟老板学的）是把祈使句改成疑问句，please do xxx -> could you please do xxx/I was wondering if you could do xxx这样。

以后收邮件，或者查查过去的邮件，看看他们在邮件里是怎么表述自己想法的。

"Please tell me what you think about them.", "please point out anything that you are still confused about" 听起来像是在要求教授做什么事情。 英语里最好用can you.../please lemme know...这种句式代替祈使句， 蕴含着"你可以不这么做"的意思
