UCI MCS疫情下什么政策？

我现在已经晕了。之前邮件里好像说过看情况可以defer到冬季，我想问问defer到冬季（大概一月多入学）是不是明年暑期肯定没有cpt了呢？还有就是如果不defer，9月末开学，最迟什么时候到校才能算暑期有cpt。听说netsys政策很友好，netsys是什么情况呢？

这里说ddl的来源是NYU明确表示10.25之前到美国还会给CPT

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the department is not allowing deferrals at the moment. With the current COVID-19 situation evolving we are maintaining our programs as normal but also taking precautions and preparing to possibly go online for a few quarters if necessary. We understand this process can cause a lot of stress and anxiety but we care and we will do our best to make sure you obtain the best education possible. If you are interested in participating in the program you are more than welcome to submit a positive SIR. I don't believe you will have issues for CPT but you may want to consult with the International Center to be sure.

I understand your concern; there are many unknowns right now, but
hopefully soon, things will become more normalized.

Unfortunately, at this current time, we are not considering deferring
admissions.  Instead, our plan is to offer remote learning in the fall.  
And, our career development team will ensure that they have strategies
in place to still be able to maximize our efforts to help students do
their best to secure summer internships.  WE are already discussing
creative and new strategies that we may have to employ as a result of
what is currently going on in the world.

We don't know what the situation will ultimately be in the coming weeks
or months since things are rapidly changing every day, but as soon as we
have more information to disseminate to our students, we will let you
know as soon as possible. If you need a few more weeks to make a
decision, I'm happy to extend our decision date to May 1st.  Please do
let us know by or before that date as it is very important for our
planning purposes.

If you have questions in the meanwhile that can assist you during your
decision-making process, please do let us know.  I hope ultimately, we
will see you at UC Irvine

你是在uci发那个有defer winter的邮件之前收到的这封邮件吗。这邮件的意思我觉得应该是不能defer，校方认为我们应该能正常入学并，所以不存在什么cpt的问题

我是接了说能defer到winter quarter那封邮件后，想问问我winter入学的话能不能在暑假拿cpt得到的回复。我理解也是：1）不能defer，因为疫情不能到就网课：2）按时入学cpt没问题

很多人问defer的事情都收到2l那封邮件吧。我现在又详细地发邮件给international center问了一下CPT的事情，一整天没回复...如果LZ确定了UCI-MCS的话可以一起等等。

那没办法啊 那边不回复你是真的没办法...我已经接了UCI而且不想撕，并且想尽快过去美国。这一点可能和大家的考虑不是完全一致。我会今天晚上再发一遍的 如果有任何进展会第一时间同步过来。

I'm writing to ask some policies regarding CPT offering during the pandemic. We are asked to be "prepared to possibly go online for a few quarters if necessary" according to the program admission office. If so, would the application to CPT for summer intern be effected regarding the following situations: 1) We'll have to take online courses after enrolled IN THE FLESH in the coming Fall quarter 2) We'll have to stay at our HOME COUNTRY for online cources due to visa restrictions to the US during the pandemic. If there should be some delay in enrollment, what would be the deadline of arrival on getting a CPT?
