Graduate Record Exam (GRE) general test scores are required of all students. In general, we have no cutoffs for grade point average (GPA) or your GRE scores. Over the past ten years the average GPA of students accepted into the graduate program was a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. In addition, if you are an international student you must have a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 105 (on the internet based test).

The admission committee considers several factors when making admission decisions, your academic performance at prior institutions (GPAs), your GRE test scores, your statement of purpose, and your letters of recommendation. All of these factors are important, and your application will be strengthened if your GRE scores are at or above these average values. If your GRE scores are lower than these averages, your chances for admission will be reduced and, if your scores are very low (ie., below 400V, 700Q - , and 3.5AW, under the old grading system, and under the new grading system 146V, 155Q), your application will be declined. Furthermore, meeting or exceeding these average numbers for GRE scores does not guarantee admission.

GT控，确实很重要啊。花了不少冤枉钱。

谢谢楼主分享，我想问一下这个GT基本要求，今年的申请是否有变化呢？
然后UIUC 和MIT真的不要G么。。。。。太伤了 刚刚报名了第二次G诶。。。。。

UM 申请phd aw才会要求4.5 如果申请ms没那么严格要求 我问过小秘了
