[RF Circuits, Machine Learning, Antennas] Postdoctoral Position

The Shih Laboratory of Applied Electromagnetics at the University of Idaho, USA, is looking for a postdoctoral researcher in the area of RF circuits, antennas, and machine learning applications in these two areas. The salary is USD $50,000~$55,000 per year (negotiable).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Collaborate in research on RF circuit design, antenna design, and machine learning applications in these areas.

2. Influence the progress of relevant research communities by producing high-quality publications.

3. Collaborate and increase productivity on projects as a contributing team member.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.

2. Extensive experience with RF circuit design, antenna design, and/or machine learning applications in these areas.

3. Track record of publications that demonstrate experience in RF circuit design, antenna design, and machine learning applications in these areas.

4. Experience in collaborating within a team to solve problems.

5. Experience in communicating research to public audiences or peers.

6. Must obtain work authorization in the United States at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment. Note: We can sponsor an H1B visa which coincides with the duration of the postdoctoral appointment at our lab. The appointment of scholars is a considerable commitment by the faculty sponsor and by the university. We cannot sponsor an H1B visa for a scholar without a commitment to the appointment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. First-author publications at prestigious journals on the topics of RF circuits, antennas, and/or machine learning applications in these areas.
2. Experience in active RF circuit design.
