Remote Internship 在加拿大境内做美国公司的实习生

本人8月底的实习，本来预约的6月签证面试，因为疫情使馆关闭，直到8月才有面试。然后Trump又出了政策让我拿美国签证更难了。
现在在考虑在加拿大境内remote  internship. 有三个问题我搞不清楚：
1. 我还需要申请美国J-1签证吗？如果需要的话，我现在预约时间面试时间是8月11号，是不是来不及在8月29号前拿到签证。
2. 我是Univerisity of Waterloo 的international student, 没有coop work permit。 如果为加拿大的公司工作，每周是不可以超过20小时的。所以我也不确定这个remote internship可不可以full time。

昨天在政府官网上发现了这个https://www.canada.ca/en/immigra ... s/what-is-work.html， 里面说
What kind of activities are not considered to be “work”?
An activity which does not really 'take away' from opportunities for Canadians or permanent residents to gain employment or experience in the workplace is not “work” for the purposes of the definition.
Examples:
long distance (by telephone or Internet) work done by a temporary resident whose employer is outside Canada and who is remunerated from outside Canada;

而且，学校的consultant这样说
From an immigration standpoint, a Canadian co-op work permit would not be required if you're working remotely from within Canada for a US employer. Canadian working in Canada policies would also not apply.

请问各位大佬有没有类似的经验可以分享一下。

3. 没有美国签证的话，会有SSN吗？没有SSN的话，公司可以雇佣我吗？如果可以雇佣，那工资要发到美国的银行卡吗？加拿大境内怎么办理美国的银行卡呢？

求有remote interniship经验的大佬分享经验，谢谢啦。

我是暑假实习 本来是在美国 然后因为疫情原因没法去 公司就把我的offer改成了加拿大based 虽然组还是美国的

据我所了解的情况来讲 你没有SSN的话就没法给你发工资 现在美国境内的人都几乎没法办SSN 人在加拿大更是几乎不可能 而且就算要给你发工资公司也会很难算税
所以最大的阻力不在加拿大这边而是在美国

那如果是加拿大based, 会不会又只能part time啊
