Remdesivir is the only drug that has been proven to change the treatment of the coronavirus. Intravenous injection of this drug can shorten the recovery time, and has obtained emergency use rights in the U.S. and full approval in Japan. Gilead will charge $390 per bottle to the American patients in governments of developed countries and U.S. patients in government healthcare programs，for a total of $2430 over 5 days. For American patients with commercial insurance, the 5-day course will charge $3,120, and $520 per bottle. Gilead also said that it will continue to supply Remdesivir to the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and that the agency and states will distribute management to US hospitals until the end of September.  source
