学校ISS发的关于ICE最新条款的通知

这个ISS邮件里后面还写了：
If I am working only on my thesis/dissertation will I meet the in person requirement?
This depends on how your thesis/dissertation course is coded in HUB. If it is in-person (P), Hybrid (HY) or Hybrid with in Person Exam (HE), then you will meet all requirements and can remain inside the U.S.

我本以为ATC后只写dissertation不会受影响，看到这个后我立马email我们系主任。我们系主任还挺好，直接email小秘，让她 "make sure that XX''s 1 credit dissertation course is to be coded as in-person/hybrid"。

这是共和党资深党员办的学校吧

相比之下NEU校长给国际生发的邮件太良心了

suny buffalo这么冷漠？有点儿震惊。。

可议尝试联系其他高校，提交转学申请。今年情况特殊，或许还有秋季入学机会。如果考虑春季转学，则准备时间非常充裕。多联系几所备选学校，备胎多多益善。今年高校普遍缺钱，供求关系改变，国际自费生转学或许还能更上一层楼。而且越是体量大的学校，如常青藤/私立名校/UC全家桶/公立大U，越有底气和ICE正面硬刚，保护自己的国际学生（金主爸爸）。深蓝州的学校会比红州的学校更加政治正确，可议重点关注。把主动权攥在自己手里，多留几手准备。此处不留爷，自有留爷处。
