转租房，住入后即换了房东，未签约，现欲搬出...

基本情况：去年圣诞时来美，住进一个毕业工作中国人转租的condo里(原租约到今年7月31)。圣诞时都有事一直没和房东见面签租约，结果圣诞回来开学房东就换人了。新房东也没找我签过任何文件，出于不受约束的想法我也乐得如此。转租人和室友搞得我这一学期住得极其郁闷。现在暑假了，找好的新房子6月10号左右就得住过去，确实不打算忍过最后两个月了，今天给房东发邮件说6月支付半个月租金就走人，她的回复如下：

I am very sorry but your lease is through July 31 as I understand it. You are responsible for the rent for June and July whether you live there or not.

Did you not understand that in the lease. Your roommates are in the same situation

我的想法：虽然感觉有一点不厚道，不过我一直以为没签任何纸面/电子文件的情况下我不会受原租客的租约效力约束。我基本准备直接把这个观点跟房东挑白了，不过鉴于还是没有百分百把握，还是想问一下各路大神(尤其是有经验的同学)。还有一个小顾虑就是和原房东互通过商量签约时间的邮件(但没有电子签名任何东西)，不知道这个有没有影响。

My apology if this sounds abrupt.

I did learn from my two roommates that their lease would expire by end of July. But when moving in I was told I could move out right after the spring semester. And the fact is that I didn't sign any paper/electronic agreement with the former landlord, unlike my roommates. So I suppose I'm not actually engaged to the former tenant's lease.

Truly sorry but I meant no offense. Just suggesting a reasonable solution.

楼主，这人品，就不说啥了

同表示对这人品捉急。。。。
这房租最后总要有人负责的，你不付就是转租的人付。

其实真不是成心想这样，转租人和室友实在把我坑得太惨。但就事论事此举本身确实不好。楼上批评得对，接受了。

已经回邮，在表示继续履行租约的前提下真心诚意地哭了下穷。哎，就这样吧。
